How I can help:

I help teenagers with Science and Maths up to A-level. I offer a new service - online tuition & support - which is proving popular.

Sessions can be at my place, your place or online. I live in Frenchay, Bristol

What happens during a tutoring session? This does depend on the student's requirements, but in general, there are three elements:
- First, I help students keep up to date with their school work. It's very important not to fall behind.
- Secondly, we work through the specification content making sure that the student creates useful notes and learns how to test themselves and learn as they go.
- Thirdly, we practice exam-style questions.

What's my style? My primary objective is to increase confidence. I encourage students to enjoy investigating the subject - asking questions all the time. We work to an agreed plan and enjoy the process or learning. I use and teach accelerated learning techniques where appropriate.
